Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join our team on a full-time temporary basis, starting from May 1st, 2024, until the end of the summer term. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across various year groups.
Key Responsibilities as a Teacher of Maths:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
* Differentiate teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate academic growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' enthusiasm for Mathematics.
Teacher of Maths Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Specialism in Maths or a related subject area.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics education.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
