At CrossReach, our Night Care Workers support older people to feel safe, respected and well looked after during the night. From helping with personal care to keeping the environment clean and calm, your work will make a real difference.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting residents with personal care and mobility
* Keeping everything clean, tidy and well organised
* Responding to needs quickly and kindly
* Noticing if something isn’t right and taking appropriate action
* Recording information clearly for the day team
* Helping create a caring environment shaped by our Christian ethos respectful, inclusive and compassionate
What we’re looking for:
* Someone reliable, practical, and ready to work as part of a team
* Experience is helpful but not essential we’ll support you with full training
* Whether you’ve already got your SVQ Level 3 or you’re working towards it, we’ll help you get there
* You’ll need to join the PVG scheme and register with the SSSC (don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the process)

As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
