Role Overview:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will involve supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities as a Primary TA:
* Support the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities.
* Assist individual pupils or small groups who may need extra support.
* Help maintain a structured and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
* Foster positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
Requirements for a Primary TA:
* Experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
* A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, flexible, and proactive approach.
* An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
