We are seeking a Quality & Compliance Officer with recent experience working in a benefits environment to join our small, dedicated Quality and Improvement Team. In this role, you will support the Principal Quality and Improvement Officer with a range of key activities, including: Completing the Housing Benefit subsidy audit Carrying out quality checks within the Benefits Processing Team on Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support assessments Providing assistance in determining the eligibility and rental charges on Exempt and Supported Accommodation schemes Identifying training needs Highlighting areas of concern and contributing to continuous improvement Essential Requirements Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant Housing Benefit legislation and regulations Understanding of Local Council Tax Support policies Educated to GCSE level, with grades A–C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English OR experience in a Welfare Support environment that allows you to carry out the full range of duties.
