The Role
As an Electronics Software Engineer, you will work across both hardware and embedded software, playing a key role in the design, development, testing, and integration of mission-critical security systems.
You'll collaborate closely with mechanical and systems engineers to deliver robust, field-tested solutions designed to operate in some of the most demanding conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits
Develop embedded software, balancing time between hardware and firmware design
Program and manage microcontrollers for I/O control and system integration
Support and participate in high-security testing, including blast and ballistic validation
Work cross-functionally to deliver fully integrated security systems
Contribute to team development through mentoring and knowledge sharingWhat You'll Bring
Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design
Proven embedded software development experience (C/C++ preferred)
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and system integration
British passport (required for security clearance)
