Role Description
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost control, budget adherence, and optimal resource utilization. Responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing cost reporting, developing cost plans, and overseeing project financial performance. The role requires collaboration with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve successful project completion. This is a full-time on-site role based in Astwood Bank.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning
* Experience in preparing and analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
* Strong skills in Cost Reporting and financial tracking for construction projects
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Relevant professional qualifications or a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, contracts, and regulations
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* Experience with educational or commercial construction projects is a plus
