Our client is seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a friendly and well-established secondary school in Birmingham. This is a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible.

You will work closely with the site team and senior leadership to support the smooth operation of the school, helping to create a positive environment for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Opening and closing the school site daily
* Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks
* Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the premises
* Monitoring site security, including alarms and access control
* Assisting with setting up rooms for events and activities
* Liaising with external contractors when required
Experience and Skills
* Previous caretaker, site assistant, or maintenance experience (preferred)
* Basic knowledge of building maintenance and health & safety
* Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Right to work in the UK
