Customer Delivery Driver - Falkirk Vf Northern
We are looking for a Customer Delivery Driver to join our team. Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering our customers' shopping trips by ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy, loading the van as required, and talking to customers about any changes to their order.
* Ensuring the van and trays are clean and kept tidy/organised.
* Leaving the back yard clean, tidy and clear of rubbish, and picking up litter as seen.
* Ensuring trays are washed as part of the tray wash process.
* Loading the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness.
* Talking to the customer about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions, offering a refund for anything they are unhappy with.
* Taking care of products/deliveries as if they were your own.
* Explaining to the customer that they will not be charged any more for their substitutions.
* Delivering during the customer's time slot.
* Calling the customer before arriving at their property if early.
* Calling the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
To be successful in this role, you will need to build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit, be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, and act quickly to respond to the changing needs of our customers.

* A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
