Job Description

Category Manager - Marketing - (Multiple Business)- End to end Procurement Management

3. Develop and deliver category strategies for your assigned portfolio.
4. Work with stakeholders up to Executive level, leveraging external insights and spend analysis to balance value and service.
5. Champion procurement-led change across multiple businesses
6. Lead and project manage workstreams to ensure timely delivery within governance frameworks.
7. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and Data Protection teams.
8. Provide expert procurement guidance to stakeholders.
9. Negotiate, select, and contract with suppliers to meet business objectives.
10. Track and report on savings, ROI, and procurement KPIs.
11. Manage key supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
12. Ensure outcomes are mutually beneficial and aligned with business priorities.
13. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies within the organisation's risk appetite.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager- Marketing should have:

14. Proven expertise in Procurement Category Manager - Ideally in Marketing, or have touched upon this area
15. Strong analytical skills and experience in market analysis.
16. Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities.
17. Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
18. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
19. Knowledge of procurement policies and industry standards
