We’re looking for a Lead SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Systems Analyst who thrives on solving complex problems, questioning conventional thinking, and building scalable solutions that support a fast‑moving, global organisation.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of SAP MDG, ensuring master data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across Customer, Supplier, Material, and Financial domains. You’ll act as a technical and functional leader, partnering closely with business and IT teams to design, configure, and continuously improve master data governance processes.

What you’ll do
* Lead the design, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP Master Data Governance solutions
* Define and implement data governance policies, workflows, and business rules
* Ensure master data accuracy, quality, and compliance across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems
* Configure and support key MDG capabilities including workflows, BRF+, FPM, dashboards, and Fiori applications
* Partner with business stakeholders to analyse requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate needs into scalable system solutions
* Support data integration initiatives with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, and non‑SAP systems
* Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing and support releases and transports
* Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure smooth system operation
* Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, including specs, test plans, and change records
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across the MDG and wider IT team
* Support end‑user training and provide ad‑hoc guidance when needed
What we’re looking for
* Significant experience designing, configuring, and supporting SAP MDG in a lead or senior analyst role
* Strong functional knowledge of master data domains: Product/Material, Customer, Supplier, and Financial (FI)
* Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA business processes and critical data elements
* Hands‑on experience integrating MDG with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, and other systems using tools such as IDOCs, APIs, DRF, or web services
* Solid understanding of master data management, ERP, and manufacturing business processes
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence cross‑functional teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
