GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher to join a well-regarded and supportive primary school in Loughton on a part-time, long-term basis starting in September.
This role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity with a reduced timetable, offering an excellent work-life balance while maintaining involvement in classroom teaching and pupil development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with national curriculum standards
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
* Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
* Attend relevant meetings and contribute to the wider school community (as agreed based on part-time hours)
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment expectations
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A professional, flexible, and proactive attitude
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
