This is an exciting opportunity to join the Skills, Employment and Adult Education service and be part of our Job Shop delivery. Our projects are part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the West Midlands Combined Authority, and HM Government’s Commonwealth Games Legacy Fund.
As a Job Coach, you will be part of the Welcome Team delivering a first-class service to provide residents with a high-quality and personalised support experience, helping them move closer to and into good quality employment. You should have a passion for helping others through effective job coaching and support.
Who are we looking for?
You should excel at developing positive working relationships, be an effective communicator, and able to work with a diverse range of people, including those with disabilities and mental health challenges. Crucially, you should have the skills to listen, understand, and identify how to support each customer positively.
You will meet and greet customers, triage their needs, provide support, and be solution-focused as part of the Welcome Team.
