We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director/Head of Finance
to lead Nirvana Europe's financial operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing all financial planning, reporting, and governance, ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the company. As a key member of the leadership team, the Finance Director will provide commercial insight and strategic direction to support decision-making and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership
* Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
* Partner with the leadership team to drive profitable growth and operational efficiency.
* Financial Planning & Analysis
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
* Provide data-driven insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
* Financial Control & Compliance
* Oversee financial reporting in accordance with statutory requirements and internal standards.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.
* Risk Management
* Identify, assess, and manage financial risks.
* Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Operational Finance
* Oversee cash flow, working capital, and investment planning.
* Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and key stakeholders.
* Team Leadership
* Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Promote collaboration across departments to achieve business objectives.
Skills & Experience Required
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
* Proven track record in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director, Head of Finance, or CFO).
* Strong experience in financial strategy, planning, and operational management.
* Knowledge of European financial regulations and international reporting standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
* Experience in the travel, events, or service industry (desirable but not essential).
