Job Description
Key responsibilities as a Project Manager:
1. Be the primary customer contact.
2. Manage a portfolio of related projects, achieving customer requirements and meeting schedule, budget, and risk management goals.
3. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
5. Provide accurate cost and schedule reports for bids and updates.
6. Lead and communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
7. Motivate the team and foster a collaborative environment.
8. Support additional duties as assigned by management.
9. Experience in new product implementation and development.
Personal Attributes
Required qualities include:
* Proven track record in full project lifecycle management.
* Degree in Business or Engineering.
* APM qualification or equivalent.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* High commercial awareness and customer focus.
* Resilience under pressure and sound judgment.
* Proficiency with project management tools and ERP systems.
* Experience in systems engineering, integration, or manufacturing, preferably in Maritime/Defence sectors.
* Willingness to travel UK and overseas.
