We are seeking a customer-centric individual to join our Station Teams as a Customer Relations Assistant. Acting as the face of Northern, our customer relations teams ensure that our customers have the information and support they need at all times.
What You Will Be Doing...
You will play a key role in ensuring top-quality customer service within our stations. Your responsibilities will include meeting customer needs, providing information and support during their journey, advising on journey times, delays, tickets, fares, and reservations, and maintaining station appearance and safety. You will also lead by example and support other station staff with challenging customer queries.

No two days are the same. Your daily duties may include:
1. Customer Service: Keeping promotional notices and publications up to date and available, processing refunds.
2. Financial Management: Managing cash and credits, balancing daily station accounts, preparing cash for banking.
3. Compliance: Monitoring internal check procedures to uphold standards.
4. Service Disruption: Coordinating front-line responses during service disruptions.
5. Inventory Management: Overseeing ticket, store, and leaflet stock and distribution.
6. Delivering excellent customer service and effective communication skills.
7. Sound IT skills and the confidence to work independently.
8. Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Salary: £28,200
All roles are subject to passing a medical.
