Role Overview
Ward F5/F2 currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time permanent Band 6 post within the cardiac division, working on both F5 and F2 cardiac wards.
Responsibilities
* Provide care post procedure for day case cardiology patients undergoing procedures such as coronary angiogram, coronary angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
* Discharge patients who have undergone the listed cardiac procedures.
* Coordinate the movement of staff and patients between the two wards to ensure appropriate levels of care.
* Develop leadership and management skills with support from the ward manager and matron.
* Work as an integrated member of the ward team, contributing to high standards of patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Ideal candidate has 2 years of cardiology experience or equivalent.
* Motivated, innovative, and dynamic in thinking and practice.
* Flexible approach to shift patterns; flexible working hours can include part time and job share.
