The purpose of the role is to manage projects and own processes that support the enterprise-wide transformation of sustainability performance, ensuring sustainability is fully embedded in all activities.
The Project and Process Manager is responsible for risk management, benefits & value management, and for resolving or escalating risks and issues as appropriate. The Project Leader helps ensure project teams adhere to quality and compliance standards, policies, and procedures, and supports project assurance activities.
You will integrate across the organization and establish global connections to deliver business value across functions, regions, and globally.
You will act as a Business Process Owner for various processes within Global Sustainability, including process review, ongoing improvement, and potential implementation of new processes.
Lead cross-functional sustainability projects using a recognized project management framework to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery (e.g., rolling out smart metering across the enterprise to support natural resource targets).
Own and continuously improve business processes through a business process management approach.
Serve as the sustainability representative, providing or coordinating expert input for transformational activities.
Collaborate with other Sustainability leaders across the enterprise to mobilize projects and alliances with internal and external stakeholders, bringing clarity to complex situations.
Manage project budgets and benefits for Global Sustainability projects and programs.
Identify and manage project risks, taking accountability for decision-making in risk processes.
Require experience in sustainability projects or within a sustainability function.
Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with global and cultural awareness.
Ability to influence stakeholders across different business units and seniority levels.
