Responsibilities
* Scan patient records and related documents into an electronic format with proper indexing and categorisation for easy retrieval.
* Review scanned images for quality and ensure they meet standards for accuracy and legibility.
* Provide support and guidance on records procedures and standards, including monitoring, auditing and rectification of errors and missing data.
* Work in an organised manner and, at times, under pressure.
* Cross‑cover for Ward / Outpatient / ED reception, Outpatient Appointments and Switchboard; may involve working additional hours regularly.
Qualifications / Attributes
* Numerate and detail‑oriented with an aptitude for accuracy.
* Team working is essential, but the ability to use initiative is also required.
* Ability to work in a busy Medical Records environment and handle cross‑functional duties.
Employment details
* Permanent part‑time position, 14.9 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
* Location context: NHS Highland region; cross‑regional responsibilities may apply.
