Pay: £90-£115 per day

About the Role
A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 2 pupil with mixed communication and SEMH needs. The role begins in January, with trial sessions available before the end of term.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support the child with emotional regulation, daily routines, early literacy engagement, and structured interventions recommended by the SENCO and external specialists. You will help the pupil build confidence, manage transitions, and access lessons in a calm and supported way.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is hoping to recruit a Learning Support Assistant who:
Has previous experience supporting SEND pupils, particularly SEMH or communication needs
Can follow behaviour and regulation strategies consistently
Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong rapport
Can work collaboratively with class staff and take guidance from the SENCO
Is resilient, proactive, and confident delivering small-step learning tasks
