A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Pensions Data Technician to join its expanding team. This is a remote role focused on project-based work involving complex extraction, cleansing, analysis, and processing of pensions data to support scheme events and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on scheme events and project delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion.
* Collaborate with project leads to plan and manage deliverables.
* Review and support the work of other data technicians.
* Liaise with internal teams and external clients to ensure effective communication and service.
* Continuously improve processes, systems, and service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality systems.
Key Tasks:
* Deliver data-focused pensions projects and scheme events.
* Process data extracts, uploads, bulk calculations, and mail merges.
* Build and maintain Excel tools including macros and templates.
* Create full audit trails and test outputs to quality standards.
* Provide regular updates to project leads and stakeholders.
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Strong experience with DB pension schemes.
* Technical knowledge of pensions calculations and data analysis.
* Proficiency with pensions administration systems.
* Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, IF statements, data validation).
* Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
* Background in project work with solid organisational skills.
* A-Level Maths or a degree involving mathematical analysis, or equivalent work experience.
Desirable:
* PMI qualifications or equivalent pensions certifications.
