Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading Compressed Air Manufacturer\n\nThe Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands including Nottingham and the surrounding areas. Full product training provided.\n\nThe Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, dryers, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment.\n\nPackage\n£35,000-£40,000 (OTE £55K depending on experience)\nCompany van\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\nCompany pension\nOvertime\nTablet, tools insurance\nPhone\nAdditional benefits\n\nService Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role\nTo provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.\nThe Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.\nMaintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, Valves and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across Nottingham and the surrounding Areas.\nIdentifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressor products.\nPerform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.\nLiaise with various engineering departments.\n\nService Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements\nProven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.\nExperience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.\nThe ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.\nGood working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.\nField servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, Blowers, Dryers, pumps, motors, rotating equipment or capital equipment is advantageous. Training provided.\nA technical engineering degree or apprentice trained would be advantageous.\nHomebased, willing to travel
