Senior Technical Services Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Services Manager to work for a high profile FM client, supporting their PFI and TFM contracts across the Midlands, South and London. As part of the Senior Technical Team, you will support the contracts with their technical compliance and legislative requirements, this involves acting as an authorised person in either electrical or mechanical services and helping complete site audits and provide performance improvement plans.
* Working in collaboration with the on site technical teams, you will help to facilitate the competency of all on site engineers and contracts managers.
* Ensuring all required sites have AP's and that they have the correct training and accreditation.
* Working with contracts to ensure technical competency of relevant staff such as engineers and contracts managers.
* Providing technical guidance and advice to management and operational teams.
* Conducting site audits and inspections of sites, examining both in-house standards of working and the work of sub-contractors to ensure correct levels compliance and health and safety.
* Creating improvement plans for the technical teams to help develop the department and drive high standards of working and technical compliance.
* Making sure CAFM systems are correctly utilised to manage workflow and compliance
* Working to high standards of technical compliance and health and safety in line with ISO 14001/45001 and HTM Compliance.
* Support variation & lifecycle works and larger projects to ensure correct specifications are produced for the tender process
* Continually reviewing and improving PPM and reactive maintenance procedures
* Champion best practice, processes, procedures.
Driving license and happy to drive across patch to visit sites as required
* Mechanical (Gas) or electrical background
* Strong technical compliance understanding
* Contractual and financial acumen
* Understanding of workflow and contract deliverables and improvement plans to maximise profit and minimise fines.
