Role Summary and Impact
Business Director, OOH Planning
As a Business Director, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of OOH planning. You'll lead a team of exceptional planners, guiding them to develop and execute award-winning OOH solutions for our diverse portfolio of agencies and clients. This isn't just about planning; it's about driving commercial success, fostering deep client relationships, and elevating our strategic offering.
You will play a critical role in our leadership, contributing strategic and tactical insights to WPP Media OOH initiatives. You'll be a thought leader, an ambassador for our brand, and a key driver of our culture, actively networking to identify new opportunities and expand our reach.

Strategic Client & Agency Leadership:
* Deliver exceptional service, ensuring WPP Media OOH is recognised for its intelligent planning, precise trading, and meticulous attention to detail.
* Cultivate and expand strong, productive relationships with WPP Media OOH's clients and agencies, ensuring our visibility and profile are consistently high. This is within the planning team but also cross channel collaboration
* Proactively identify and secure new revenue opportunities, driving new business and expanding our footprint within WPP Media OOH's specialist units (e.g., Hi Rezz, Active, Alfresco Labs, Data & Measurement).
* Lead and contribute to high-stakes business pitches, showcasing our expertise and innovative solutions.
Team Leadership & Development:
* Oversee, motivate, and manage a team of OOH planners, ensuring clear communication, professional growth, and consistent performance.
* Act as a mentor and role model, actively supporting and nurturing rising talent within the department.
* Establish and uphold standards of excellence for the planning department, collaborating with the Leadership team to ensure consistent application.
* Commercial Performance & Operational Excellence:
* Set accurate forecasts for your team, ensuring commercial delivery, revenue targets, and profitability goals are consistently met.
* Collaborate closely with the Commercial Investment and Trading Hub to ensure all Media Owner agreements are fulfilled.
* Continuously monitor and optimize our brief response processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Ensure your team fully leverages the Aureus suite of tools and WPP Media OOH insights to deliver data-led OOH solutions.
Industry & Thought Leadership:
* Actively network and build productive relationships across the industry, enhancing WPP Media OOH's reputation and reach.
* Contribute thought leadership and strategic input to wider WPP Media OOH initiatives, shaping our future direction.
* Serve as an ambassador for WPP Media OOH, embodying our values and vision.
