Senior Commercial Insight Analyst
Hybrid – 1 day per fortnight in the office
Leicester
Up to £55,000
We’re supporting a purpose-led, commercially driven organisation looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Insight Analyst to sit at the heart of sales and performance decision-making.
This is not a reporting role.
This is a commercial insight role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership to interpret performance, identify revenue and margin opportunities, and turn complex data into clear commercial action.
You’ll partner directly with Sales, Commercial and Finance stakeholders, helping them understand:
* Where revenue is being won and lost
* Margin drivers and underperformance trends
* Conversion and pipeline effectiveness
* Pricing impact and opportunity areas
* Forecast accuracy and scenario planning
The business already has strong data foundations. What they need now is someone who can interpret it, challenge constructively, and provide a strong “so what”.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning commercial and sales performance reporting across the business
* Analysing margin, revenue and conversion trends
* Supporting pricing and performance optimisation decisions
* Building and improving Power BI dashboards that focus on insight, not just visuals
* Working closely with Finance to connect operational performance to financial impact
* Presenting findings to senior stakeholders with clear recommendations
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in commercial, revenue or sales performance analysis
* Strong understanding of margin, forecasting and financial drivers
* Confident working with senior stakeholders
* Power BI capability (comfortable building and improving models)
* Ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations
