Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Cyber Security Graduate to join our two-year rotation program at AVEVA, an industry leader in industrial software solutions. This program is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience across multiple aspects of cyber security, ensuring a well-rounded foundation for a successful career in the field. The assignments will cover crucial security activities in areas such as Incident Response & Digital Forensics, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Security Engineering and Architecture & Consulting as well as bespoke projects.

Program Structure:
The Cyber Security Graduate Rotation Program consists of four rotations, each lasting six months. During each rotation, you will work in different departments and gain exposure to a variety of cyber security disciplines, including:
1. Incident Response: Gain experience in identifying, analyzing, and responding to cyber security incidents to minimize impact and prevent future occurrences.
2. Vulnerability Management: Develop skills in securing software applications through vulnerability assessments, code reviews, and security testing.
3. Threat Intelligence: Analysis of security events, validating threat intelligence sources and feeds, prioritise, rate, and provide advisory reports.
4. Engineering & Architecture: Learn to design, implement, and manage secure network and application architectures to protect against unauthorised access and threats.
Key Responsibilities:
5. Assist in the design and implementation of security measures to protect network infrastructures and sensitive data.
6. Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on applications and systems.
7. Monitor security systems and respond to potential threats and incidents.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies and best practices.
9. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation, including risk assessments and incident reports.
10. Stay current with emerging cyber threats and industry trends to proactively address potential risks.
Qualifications/Experience:
We are open to applications from a wide range of disciplines including but not exclusively – cyber security, IT, business, technology, computer sciences, engineering, commercial.
11. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
13. Basic understanding of network and application security principles.
14. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
15. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
16. Relevant internships or project experience in cyber security is a plus.
17. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts.
18. Familiarity with security tools and methodologies.
19. Ability to adapt to a global and diverse user base.

Hybrid working
