Job Description
We are seeking personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors to join our UK Infrastructure team, supporting our growth in the water/utilities sector. You will work on various client and internal projects, contributing to our vision and making a difference in UK infrastructure.
Job Objectives
* Contribute to Turner & Townsend's 2025 vision
* Establish professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders
* Administer contracts aligned with project objectives and policies
* Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting
* Manage cost variances, cash flow, and timely applications
* Collaborate with teams on project delivery, KPIs, and objectives
* Manage contract changes and ensure governance and best practices
* Improve forecast and budget accuracy
* Provide commercial support and knowledge to stakeholders
* Negotiate and finalize final accounts
* Lead as needed in people and project management
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have experience or understanding in:
* Excellent communication skills
* Contract management (NEC3, Option C preferred)
* Cost management and change control
* Valuation, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing, reporting
* Collaborative approach and sharing best practices
* People management and project efficiencies
* Technical knowledge of construction industry practices
* Degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent)
* Professional body membership or working towards it
