Technical Support Specialist – Lab Equipment
Hands-on technical support role supporting laboratory instruments, software and consumables, with regular customer travel across the UK, Europe and the US.

About the role
* Provide technical support to new and existing customers across the full product range
* Diagnose, repair and service laboratory equipment on customer sites and in-house
* Regular travel to customer locations
* Support customers via email and phone when required
* Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate orders
* Work with manufacturing and product teams on faults, improvements and new products
* Test products and perform quality/functional checks prior to sale
* Configure laptops and install software for use with equipment
Your previous experience
* Experience repairing and servicing equipment (in-house and on customer sites)
* Local to Cambridge and happy with some global travel
* Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and logical thinking skills
* Direct customer technical support experience
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with good listening skills
* Competent with computers, operating systems and major software tools
* Full UK driving licence, clean record
* Professional, discreet and able to represent the brand on-site
Package
* £35,000 – £40,000 base salary + bonus (DOE)
