This position is based in Berkeley, Missouri and focuses on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining simulation environments and infrastructure for the F-22 Raptor program.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, and virtual environments.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to review and define simulation requirements.
* Developing and testing software models, and validating them against real-world data.
* Documenting technical code, algorithms, and simulation models.
* Integrating simulation software with hardware systems and supporting modernization efforts.
Qualifications:
* Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
* 2+ years’ experience in Ada, C++, Python, C#.
* Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Preferred skills:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields.
* Experience with real-time software development, embedded systems, and containerization.
* Knowledge of Agile practices, Git, and software testing.
* Experience with Rust, cloud architecture, and networking concepts.
