As a national contractor with a strong local presence, we have a central commercial function that supports and strengthens our operations, working seamlessly withour integrated delivery teams and regional businesses. With an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects we are on the look out for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Edinburgh.
The Role
As a valued memberof our commercial team, you will be responsible for overseeing commercial control and driving the implementation ofbest practices. Your close collaboration with operational teams will be key to achieving success.
Who we are looking for
We're seeking talented individuals who possessa sound commercial instinct and a passion for construction.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
* Strong MEP background( Mechanical,Electrical, and Plumbing).
* Confident, reliable and able to work on the own initiative as well as part of a team
* Excellent numerical, interpersonal, communication and IT Skills with proficiency in Microsoft office applications
* Commercially aware, enthusiastic, practical, and detail oriented.
* Familiar with the construction Act and standard forms of Contract/ Sub-Contract: typically, SBCC/NEC
* A full UK Driving licence is essential
