Woodley and Romiley Towpath Taskforce is a volunteer group working on the Peak Forest Canal in Woodley and Romiley.
We undertake tasks such as litter picking, vegetation management, graffiti removal, mending towpaths, and improving the canal area for everyone to enjoy.
Tools and equipment are provided, along with expert support and refreshments. No prior experience is necessary, but volunteers should wear sturdy footwear, warm clothes, and waterproofs. Interested? Please contact us — we'd love to hear from you!
Our first meeting is on Thursday, 24th April at 10:00 am. We will meet monthly on Thursdays at the car park next to the canal, accessed via What3Words 'seated.ranked.offers' from Padden Brook SK6 3AL.
Join us for our next towpath taskforce on Thursday, 24th April!
