About the Role
Join us as an Assistant Shop Manager in our Witney shop and become an ambassador for our charity! We have a permanent part‑time position available working 22.5 hours per week.
* Hours: 22.5 hours per week (worked 3 out of 7 days)
* Location: Witney
* Salary: £15,052.20 per annum (£25,087 pro rata)
* Closing date: 10th June 2026 at 12 noon
Responsibilities
Work alongside a team of volunteers to maximise the shop’s sales profits. Deliver excellent customer service and support the charity’s mission. Provide full training and support for volunteers, ensuring high standards of retail operation.
Assist the Shop Manager and Area Manager in achieving objectives related to sales, volunteer coordination, and shop operations. Manage volunteer teams in a variety of situations and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Work weekends on a rota basis and adapt to changing work patterns as required by the business and volunteer availability.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience in charity retail or similar customer‑service role.
* Good eye for detail, strong organisational and IT skills.
* Ability to manage volunteer teams and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt.
