Exciting Year 2 Teacher Opportunity
Teach Plus are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Margate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys supporting pupils during a crucial year of their primary education and preparing them for the transition to Key Stage 2 and secondary school.

Role & Responsibilities
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Prepare pupils effectively for their end of Key Stage 1 assessments
* Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
* Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a passionate Year 2 Teacher with:
Essential:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Ability to inspire and support pupils' academic and personal development
* Excellent communication and collaborative skills
* Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
* Experience preparing pupils for Key Stage 1 assessments
* Creative approach to lesson planning and classroom activities
