<div><h3>Nursery – Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery</h3><p>Salary – £28,080 – £29,203.20 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)</p><p>Hours – 40 Hours Per Week | Mon‑Fri | Permanent</p><p>Location – Barford, Warwickshire</p><h3>Role Overview</h3><p>As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement, and reflect on engaging activities tailored to the development of individual children, encouraging them toward key milestones. You will create a safe environment that supports children’s freedom to express themselves and foster a lifelong love of learning.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities for children.</li><li>Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that promotes exploration and learning.</li><li>Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents/carers to foster strong partnerships.</li><li>Adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and standards.</li><li>Ensure rigorous safeguarding and child protection practices are followed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and Experience</h3><ul><li>Full and relevant Level 2, Level 3, or above Early Years qualification.</li><li>Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of the EYFS and its implementation.</li><li>Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.</li><li>Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Childcare discount of 50% for the first child.</li><li>Enhanced parental leave – 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and paid Christmas closure.</li><li>Additional leave option (subject to T&C).</li><li>Pension scheme.</li><li>Financial and wellbeing benefits: 24/7 virtual GP appointments, early access to wages, and more.</li><li>Professional development programme access for every career stage, including a careers coach.</li></ul><h3>Safeguarding and Recruitment</h3><p>Bright Horizons is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
