We are well known for great fresh food & service. From Sunday roasts, to stand out starters, mains & desserts.

Working alongside our Head Chef and the team, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career further.

* Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional cooking skills and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while leading and supervising kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends.
* Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety practices.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
* Assist in the development of special events or catering menus as required.

Skills

* Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
* Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
