Responsibilities
* Recruitment of a permanent Senior Examinations Administrator and work under the direction of the Exams Officer, reporting to the Business Manager as a key member of the administration team.
* Understand the complexities of dealing with multiple exams boards and associated governance.
* Manage a large team of invigilators and work with the SEN team, students, parents and teaching staff.
* Ensure confidentiality and impartiality in all examination-related processes.
* Respond flexibly to the demands of busy exam periods; this role is term time plus 3 weeks (to be worked during the end of the summer holidays).
Qualifications and Requirements
* Highly organised, resilient and able to go the extra mile; flexible in line with exam demands.
* Excellent communication skills; previous experience in a similar school/college role is desirable but not essential.
* Understanding of the governance and compliance required for examinations.
* Ability to manage a large team of invigilators and collaborate with SEN, student, parent and teaching staff.
* Commitment to confidentiality and impartiality.
