Job Summary
Zia Pizza Semington is looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering food orders to local customers promptly and professionally, ensuring an excellent customer experience. When not on delivery runs, you will assist in the kitchen with pot washing, cleaning, and general support tasks. We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and takes pride in being part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate the delivery vehicle, following all road safety and company guidelines.
* Deliver food orders on time and in excellent condition.
* Provide friendly and professional service to customers upon delivery.
* Help with kitchen duties during quieter periods, including pot washing and general cleaning.
* Assist with basic kitchen maintenance, stock handling, and tidiness.
* Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to coordinate orders.
* Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues immediately.
Requirements
* Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
* Familiarity with local routes in and around Semington and surrounding areas.
* Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
* Willingness to support the team with non-driving duties such as pot washing and cleaning.
* Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg when required.
* Friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and a good team player.
* Previous experience in food delivery or kitchen support is a plus, but not essential.
