Commissioning Engineer – Fire Systems (Contract) Location: London Contract Type: Contract / Freelance Rate: Competitive, DOE Start: Immediate / ASAP We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Systems Commissioning Engineer for a contract role based in London, working on a range of commercial and residential fire system installations. Key Responsibilities Commissioning of fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 and relevant standards Testing, fault finding, and system verification Liaising with site managers, project engineers, and clients Completing commissioning certificates, test results, and handover documentation Supporting final inspections and client demonstrations where required Systems Experience (Essential) Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems Experience with leading manufacturers (e.g. Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, etc.) Understanding of cause & effect and system integration Requirements Proven experience as a Fire Systems Commissioning Engineer Strong knowledge of current British Standards and regulations ECS/CSCS card (preferred) IPAF and Asbestos Awareness (advantageous) Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines Right to work in the UK What’s on Offer Ongoing contract work in London Competitive day rate Immediate start available Opportunity to work on high-profile projects To apply, please send your CV and availability details.
