Overview of the role
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for fewer hours down to 12.
Our availability windows will define when you are scheduled. You will receive 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts, and we support flexibility if your preferred times closely match our advertised windows.

Responsibilities
* Support the operation of our modern pharmacies.
* Apply technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication.
* Dispense prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
* Engage with customers confidently, friendly and professionally, providing great service.
* Offer appropriate information on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Understand customers’ needs, explain product benefits, and sell only suitable products.
* Advise on available pharmacy services.
* Deliver pharmacy services and dispensing processes in line with SOPs.
* Assess legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handle clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners within competence.
* Respond to customer queries about prescriptions and inform the pharmacist of complaints.
* Follow all dispensary routines and SOPs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of dispensary and consulting rooms.
* Complete prescription administration accurately and on time.
* Promote activities and initiatives within the team.
* Carry out procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
* Complete corporate and departmental training.
* Keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications and Training
* Qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
* Desire to train and develop into the pharmacy field.
