We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and dedicated Stores & Production Coordinator to join our experienced Stores team. You will play a pivotal role liaising with our busy production team, following detailed processes and demonstrating outstanding communication skills. Key Duties: Complies with Health and Safety procedures to safeguard the stores operations by establishing and monitoring protocols. Maintains the physical layout of the warehouse. Supporting with booking-on to the system and processing all tool units received from customers and follow through to delivery to the tool production unit. Prepare labels and storage bins on racking for future projects in accordance with the Production schedule. Release Production projects, produce pick lists, picks parts, issue and release them from Epicor into assembly and sub assembly order. Processing pick lists and ensure machines kitted in accordance with the production schedule. Constantly review the stores operation and initiate process improvements to improve overall performance. Devise a Weekly 5S checklist, conduct a weekly walkaround and report the results to the purchasing manager. Receive and action all BOM changes from our Engineering team. Lead investigations and close all queries that arise from our Production Team Leader in relation to stores activities. Work closely with the Purchasing Manager on future store's improvement initiatives. General Duties: Maintain accurate records on the fords ERP system. Ensure the Stores area is tidy and free from hazards as per the Company's Health and Safety policy, proactively reporting any potential dangers to the Store Manager or QHSE Manager as soon as they arise. Carry out such other tasks as may from time to time be requested within the competence of the jobholder. kills/Experience Essential: Stores operational experience. Engineering or manufacturing qualifications or experience. A good understanding of engineering products and drawings. An understanding of Bill Of Material structure to assembly and sub assembly level.
