Police Constable x 2 - Investigations (CTPSE)
Police Constable x 2 – Investigations (CTPSE) – Join Thames Valley Police to work with Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) Investigations Unit. This is a new and exciting opportunity to be part of a 24/7 response team to terrorism offences while working towards DC accreditation. Applicants must have successfully completed their NIE before applying; they will be coached to become an accredited detective.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and support major/sensitive investigations, gathering evidence and intelligence to support investigative strategy.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies across the South East region.
* Respond to incidents on‑call as required, providing immediate support across the South East region.
* Travel primarily within the South East and occasionally throughout the UK to support investigations.
* Maintain SC security vetting level and complete required enhanced security checks.
Qualifications & Eligibility
* British National residing in the UK for the past five years (with exemptions for overseas or diplomatic service).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Successful completion of the National Investigators Enterprise (NIE) process.
* Availability for on‑call duties and flexible working arrangements.
* Ability to pass and maintain SC security clearance.
