PwC is seeking a market‑leading Technology Director focused on the Home Affairs and Justice market. The role involves selling and working with clients within the Home Office, Policing, Justice and related bodies, providing key contributions to complex business transformation projects based on technology change. The Technology Director will architect solutions, win work, and play a hands‑on role in delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with partners to select appropriate technology solutions and apply best‑of‑breed tools to create comprehensive solutions.
* Collaborate with clients to grow revenue, remove complexity, scale globally, reduce costs and prepare them for the digital age.
* Navigate the technology landscape and desired future direction within relevant clients.
* Proactively lead the market, develop and close technology‑enabled transformation sales opportunities within the UK public sector, especially with Home Office, Policing, NCA, MoJ, HMCTS and similar bodies.
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
* Leading client interactions and sales of technology‑enabled transformation programmes, recognised as a transformation services leader.
* Extensive emerging technology knowledge including Cloud, AI, RPA.
* Industry recognized applications such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, and other sector‑specific ERP/CRM/Case Management solutions.
* Experience with transformational enterprise architectures: integration, APIs, containers, etc.
* Knowledge of enterprise cloud and data vendors: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Palantir.
* Trusted advisor with a track record of advising senior executives (CxO level) and boards on large‑scale transformation.
* Sound understanding of the IT market and key vendors in this sector.
* Experience selling propositions in technology strategy, digital transformation, cloud‑based enterprise application implementation, and technology‑enabled business change.
* Expertise in IT strategy development, transformational business case development, business and IT operating model design, IT function transformation, IT development, IT service management design, IT sourcing and complex procurement, cloud transformation, cyber, and complex IT programme delivery.
* Comprehensive understanding of all technology stack layers and value delivery.
* Able to build effective relationships with third‑party delivery organisations required for complex transformation programmes.
