This full-time position offers an immediate start and runs through to September 2025 and beyond, with potential for long-term opportunities. The role will involve providing tailored support to students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a mainstream secondary setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with ALN (Additional Learning Needs). Assist classroom teachers in delivering the curriculum to students with varying abilities. Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment. Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development. Contribute to behaviour management and implement individual education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and work closely with the teaching staff to assess individual needs. Essential Requirements: Previous experience working with ALN students in a school setting. Ability to engage with and support students with a range of educational needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A caring and patient approach, committed to the well-being of students. Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one). Right to work in the UK. Male Teaching Assistant required to meet specific safeguarding needs. FREE Level 2 Safeguarding Training provided. Desirable Skills: Experience working with students in a secondary school environment. Understanding of various learning disabilities and how to support students effectively. Ability to build rapport with students and promote positive behaviour.
