As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home, including staff management, budgets, and ensuring that a high standard of care is maintained at all times. Non shift DM hours as part of role and chance to progress to becoming a Registered Manager.
Requirements of role;
* Providing a positive and enriching living experience that achieves the best outcomes for the young people
* Supporting the young people's emotional needs
* Leading, mentoring and motivating staff teams
* Be responsible for all aspects of day to day management alongside the Registered Manager
* To deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
* Ensuring the smooth-running of the home within Ofsted requirements and guidelines
* To raise and maintain high quality childcare standards.
* Undertaking wider operational tasks when required
Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
* Level 5 Leadership & Management is desirable
* Prior experience managing and leading staff teams
* Experience working within a childcare setting or with young people
* Full Driving Licence
