Wood is currently sourcing Expression of Interest applications for an upcoming Project Commercial Manager position to be located in North East England within our Process and Energy (P&E) business.

Responsibilities
* Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
* Commercialisation of service offerings to support business growth and strategy
* Developing teams with in-depth commercial and cross-functional expertise to support the assigned business
* Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies
* Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues
* Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across Project / Portfolio of Projects
* Managing the tender governance process
* Manages and provides team members with the general direction in commercial activities during the contract life cycle from input into tenders through contract delivery to contract commercial closeout
* Implementation of commercial strategy for the Business Unit within assigned project and ensures alignment of objectives to the business unit strategy

Qualifications
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies, along with appropriate professional qualification (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Extensive experience in a similar role including strong leadership/management experience
* Proven experience in contract administration including change management
* Experience in contract negotiations
* Experience in claims & dispute resolution (pre and post-litigation experience preferred)
