Working Pattern:12 hour shifts, 3 days a week. Monday to Friday and weekends on a rota basis
Pay Rates:
* Monday–Friday: £12.21/hour
* Saturday: £17.22/hour
* Sunday: £22.34/hour
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for aService Assistantto work on aMental Health and Learning Disabilities Ward. You will play a key role in helping to maintain a clean, welcoming, and recovery-focused environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the ward is clean, tidy, and maintained to high hygiene standards
* Support with the preparation and delivery of food and beverages to patients
* Assist in creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere for patients and staff
* Work closely with the ward team to support day-to-day operations
* Adhere to infection control and food hygiene standards at all times
* Be approachable, compassionate, and respectful in all patient and team interactions
Requirements:
* Ability to work both weekdays and weekends on a rota basis
* Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and patient care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Must undergo anEnhanced DBS Check
* Previous experience in a healthcare or care setting is desirable but not essential
