We are seeking an Electrician to support our partnership with Celtic Horizons, covering the Caerphilly area and surrounding locations. The role includes call outs, with a company van & fuel card provided.

Celtic Horizons is committed to enhancing community and customer lives, delivering over 35,000 repairs, refurbishments, and upgrades annually. We also provide estate services for United Welsh, including gas servicing, grounds maintenance, cleaning, and facilities management.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of United Welsh, Celtic Horizons manages over 6,500 properties across 11 local authority areas in South Wales.
About the Role:
As an Electrician with Celtic, you will perform maintenance in tenanted properties, including light/socket replacements, full property testing, fault finding, and ventilation system work (Fans/PIVs).
A full UK driving license is essential. The role primarily covers Caerphilly and Cardiff, with potential travel to other areas as needed.
You will handle electrical installations, servicing, repairs, and maintenance, adhering to IET wiring regulations and completing electrical certificates and condition reports.
Role Criteria:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification
* City and Guilds 18th Edition
* AM2 Qualification
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence
* Ability to work independently
* Experience in social housing
* Preferably hold Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent
* Ideally hold City & Guilds 2377 Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing qualification
* Knowledge of PV Solar and Ventilation systems is advantageous
All roles require entitlement to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

To drive a Mears vehicle, applicants must be over 21, have held a license for over 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
