Head of Commercial & Commercial Property\nSenior leadership opportunity within a progressive, growing firm\nA well-established and forward-thinking law firm is seeking a senior Commercial or Commercial Property solicitor to join as Head of Commercial & Commercial Property. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced practitioner who wants to shape, grow, and lead a key practice area while playing a meaningful role in the firm’s long-term strategy.\nThe role would suit someone already operating at a senior level, or a solicitor who is ready to step into departmental leadership for the first time and develop into a broader firm leader.\n\nThe role\nThis is a hands-on leadership position combining high-quality fee earning with genuine influence over the future direction of the Commercial and Commercial Property offering.\nYou will:

* Lead and develop the Commercial and Commercial Property teams
\n\t
* Manage a varied and high-quality personal caseload
\n\t
* Work closely with the Managing Director and wider leadership team
\n\t
* Play a key role in business development and client relationships
\n\t
* Contribute to board-level discussions and strategic planning
\n\t
* Help shape the firm’s commercial strategy as it continues to grow
\n\n\n
This is an office-based role, suited to someone who enjoys being fully involved in the life of the firm and its people.\n\nThe work\nYou will advise on a broad range of Commercial and Commercial Property matters, including:

\n\n
\n\t
* Commercial contracts and business advisory work
\n\t
* Acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing
\n\t
* Commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters
\n\t
* Development and investment-related property work
\n\n\n
About you\nYou will be:
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n
\n\t
* A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
\n\t
* 6+ years’ PQE with strong Commercial and/or Commercial Property experience
\n\t
* Commercially minded and client focused
\n\t
* Confident, approachable, and capable of leading others
\n\t
* Someone who enjoys mentoring and building strong teams
\n\t
* Motivated by the opportunity to grow into senior leadership
\n\n\n
