The successful candidate will play a vital role in the diagnosis and monitoring of various medical conditions, contributing to the overall quality of patient care. What will your responsibilities be : The Band 7 MRI Radiographer will be responsible for performing MRI scans, analysing images, and providing detailed reports to the medical team. This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and calibrating MRI equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, staying updated with the latest advancements in MRI techniques, training and mentoring junior staff and students, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to research and development projects, managing patient appointments and ensuring timely service delivery, and providing patient education and support regarding MRI procedures. Qualifications and Experiences: Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent HCPC registration Minimum of 3 years of experience in MRI imaging Proficiency in performing and interpreting MRI scans Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to continuous professional development How to apply?
