Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager to join their busy client in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of growing branches and will have a builders merchant background.
Salary: £45k to £50k (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all branch operations, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
* Drive sales growth through proactive business development and effective account management.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a successful branch team to achieve and exceed targets.
* Manage stock levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships to ensure product availability and profitability.
* Monitor financial performance, control costs, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Branch Manager or senior leadership role within the builders merchant or construction supply sector.
* Strong commercial awareness with a track record of growing branch revenue and profitability.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
* Sound understanding of the local market and construction industry.
