Bank Support Worker role at Community Integrated Care.
We are looking for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers to work within a well-established service supporting 1 person, focusing on learning disabilities, promoting their choices, wellbeing and independence. This role involves supporting the person with learning disabilities across a 24-hour schedule, with opportunities to engage with the local community.
Responsibilities
* Spend your shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
* Provide care and support in line with the service user’s choices, dignity and independence
* Work within a core staff team on shift, including day and night coverage
* Adhere to the service requirements and flexible scheduling needs
* Engage in safeguarding, wellbeing and professional development activities
Qualifications and Requirements
* Flexible on days and timings; ability to meet service needs
* Willingness to work in a role that may require a specific gender as a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 (where applicable)
